Hunter Hotel Advisors Worked 9 to 5 on Sale of Property Near Dollywood

Like Dolly, Hunter Hotel Advisors (“HUNTER”) is working 9 to 5! We’re giving credit to Lee Hunter, COO of HUNTER, and David Perrin, Senior Vice President of HUNTER, for closing the sale of the Hampton Inn & Suites Pigeon Forge on the Parkway in the Great Smoky Mountains. The Ephant Group purchased the property from East TN & Nelson Holdings / Hospitality Investment Services on Jan. 19, 2022.

“The Hunter Hotel Advisors team was excellent in marketing the property, and Lee and David, in particular, were both professional and persistent while navigating a rather complicated transaction in a challenging environment. I look forward to working with HUNTER in the future,” said Gary Koester, Principal of Hospitality Investment Services.

This 100-room property sits on leased land in the heart of vibrant Pigeon Forge. It faces the Parkway, the primary transportation corridor through the city, and is located near demand generators like Dollywood, Wonderworks, the Smoky Mountain Opry, and more. The hotel has shown strong resiliency over the last two years and is expected to continue to thrive as the introduction of new supply to Pigeon Forge remains limited. Adding to its appeal and continued success, the property is in what’s known as a ‘drive-to’ market. Hospitality experts anticipate these areas to be the first to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic fully.
