Bob Hunter CHB, ISHC • Founder
Bob is well known in the hotel industry for his tremendous success in selling hotels for nearly five decades. In 1978, he founded Hunter Hotel Advisors and built the company into one of the nation’s leading hotel brokerage companies. His experience includes handling the sale of nearly every type of hotel property from Hyatt Hotels to Days Inns. He has seen significant changes in the hotel industry and has assisted owners and lenders in successfully accomplishing their investment objectives, regardless of the market conditions. His experience with lenders, franchisors, management companies, lawyers and accountants greatly enhances the closing process for both buyers and sellers.
Bob is a graduate of Georgia Tech and served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force. He has achieved the designation of CHB (Certified Hotel Broker) awarded by the University of Texas/HBI. He is a member of the prestigious International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC), an organization of excellent hotel advisors whose membership is by invitation only.
Bob is founder of the Hunter Hotel Investment Conference, one of the nation’s top hotel conferences. For 30 years, the conference has brought together the nation’s hotel owners and investors to hear knowledgeable speakers on a variety of timely topics.
