DELMONTE SELLS FAIRFIELD INN & SUITES ALBANY AIRPORT IN TRANSACTION BROKERED BY HUNTER HOTEL ADVISORS
Hunter Hotel Advisors (Hunter) today announced the sale of the 78-key Fairfield Inn & Suites Albany Airport in Albany, New York. Rochester-based DelMonte Hotel Group (DelMonte) sold the property to Chester-based Brightpath Management, who will also operate the hotel. Hunter’s Mayank Patel, senior vice president, facilitated the transaction from the firm’s Atlanta headquarters.
“The Fairfield Inn & Suites Albany Airport will be accretive to our expanding hotel portfolio in the Northeast,” said Nick Patel, CEO of Brightpath Management. “We would like to thank Mayank and the Hunter team along with the seller on a smooth transaction and transition.”
The hotel is less than 10 minutes from Albany International Airport, the Albany NanoTech Complex and the University at Albany, providing steady demand from corporate, government and university travel. Downtown Albany attractions include the New York State Capitol, New York State Museum and The Egg, a performing arts venue in the Empire State Plaza.

The Fairfield Inn & Suites Albany Airport offers 448 square feet of meeting space and a business center, along with an indoor pool and fitness center.
